Як писати твір на англійській мові? З таким питанням ви зіштовхуєтеся вперше, коли вчитель дає завдання написати твір на яку-небудь тему англійською мовою. Нижче ми написали поради, які допоможуть вам написати твір англійською мовою.
По-перше, виберіть тему, яка вам до вподоби. Навіть якщо вчитель вже дав вам тему, підійдіть до нього та попросіть його дати вам ту тему, яка була б цікава саме вам. Річ у тому, що якщо ви будете писати твір про тему, яка вас цікавить, то ви будете робити це з легкістю, не напружуючись, а написання твору буде приємним, а не нудним.
По-друге, подивіться на вже існуючі приклади творів на цю тему, якщо вони, звісно, є. Шукати приклади для творів можна як в інтернеті, так і в книжках. Нижче також буде наведено декілька прикладів творів на англійській мові.
По-третє, перед початком написання визначтесь з планом свого твору. Наприклад, в першому абзаці йде вступ до теми, окреслюються питання твору, у другому та третьому абзаці йде розкриття цих питань, в останньому -висновки.
По-четверте, напишіть спочатку тів українською мовою, не пишіть його відразу на англійській. Написавши твір українською перечитайте його декілька разів, намагайтеся зрозуміти, чого йому не вистачає й допишіть це. І лише після того, як ви будете повністю ним задоволені, перекладайте на англійську мову.
По-п’яте, не перекладайте твір за допомогою Перекладача Google. Річ у тім, що автоматичний перекладач сам зробить багато помилок (як граматичних, так і пунктуаційних), віднайти які потім буде набагато складніше. Повірте нашому досвіду. Краще пишіть твір самостійно і лише якщо ви не будете знати якогось слова, то шукайте його у словнику, у книжці або в інтернеті.

Kyiv is the capital of Ukraine. It’s one of the oldest cities of Europe.
Kyiv is situated on the picturesque banks of the Dnieper river. The population of Kyiv is about 3 million.
Kyiv is a large political, industrial and cultural centre. Kyiv is a seat of the higher body of state power of Ukraine, the Verkhovna Rada. Kyiv is a scientific centre. The Academy of Sciences of Ukraine is here. Kyiv’s cultural life is rich and varied. There are many theatres, museums, exhibitions in Kyiv.
Kyiv’s theatres are well-known. The famous National Opera and Ballet Theatre and other theatres are greatly appreciated by the Kyivites and the guests of the city.
The most important educational institutions of Ukraine are in Kyiv. The National Ukrainian University named after Shevchenko is in the centre of the capital.
Kyiv is famous for its monuments. The monument to Prince Volodymyr in the picturesque park on the Dnieper hills has become a simbol of the ancient city.
Kyiv is the Hero-City. In the park of Immortal Glory there is an obelisk in honour of those who fell in the battles of the Second World War.
A lot of tourists come to Kyiv.
The central street of the capital is Khreshchatyk. There are many fine buildings in Khreshchatyk.
Kyiv is especially beautiful in spring when the famous Kyiv chestnut trees are in blossom.

In our country every boy and girl has a chance to choose one of several jobs which interest him or her. The best way to prepare for any job is to get a good education at school. Our boys and girls can find a job to their liking. They are also given every possible opportunity to go on with their education.
There are a lot of interesting trades and all of them are important and useful. Vocational schools teach all kinds of trades, for example, bus, tram and trolleybus driving, repairing radio and TV- sets and refrigerators. There is also dress making and decoration of hails, shops and cinemas. You may learn the trade of a builder, a turner, a dressmaker, a shop assistant, a carpenter, a hairdresser.
After finishing secondary school young people may enter an institute or a university to prepare for different professions, such as that of a teacher, a doctor, a lawyer, an engineer, a designer, a journalist, a chemist, a physicist, a musician, a writer, an economist among other professions.
Sport / Спорт
Physical exercises are helpful to make us healthier as well as to keep us well mentally. So if we want to keep ourselves fit, we have to go in for sports or games.
People play games – in some games each person is for himself, in others there are teams. Some games are quiet, others are very lively. Games that take a great deal of athletic skill are often called sports. Football (soccer), tennis, hockey, basketball, for instance, are sports. We may go in for a great variety of sports and games. Some kinds of sports need simple equipments and facilities, other – rather complex ones.
First touch to sports and games we make in childhood. Later on in school we discover our favourite sports and games. As far as I am concerned I go in for football, table tennis, swimming, chess, and some others.
